LET'S GET PICKLED

It all started with three friends, who enjoy great food & great Caesars  

During a Caesar cocktail party, all couples invited we're tasked with bringing their ingredients to make and share their best Caesar for the group. Each couple's signature flavours came together for their unique take on the classic Canadian cocktail.  We all tasted each other's different spirits, different brands of tomato cocktail, different spices, with an eclectic range of garnishing accoutrements.  After sampling so many amazing Caesars, each couples' guarded recipes we're much less guarded.  Coincidentally, everyone's "secret" ingredient in their best Caesar was a splash of pickle juice.  We started to discuss why we had all used pickle juice, and no one really knew.  Some thought pickle juice was for the flavour, others thought it was for the acidity. 

It's actually both!
